We had anticipated
seeing the iQOO Z9 by the end of this month, given the
six-month release schedule of the Z line. Even though it's not official yet,
it's very nearly there because the Bureau of Indian Standards has certified it
for sale in India, which is a prerequisite before launch.
We learned that the Z9
features Bluetooth 5.3 through a previous Bluetooth SIG certification, and it
will undoubtedly offer 5G connection. Some of its specifications originate from
a trustworthy source in China.
The renowned leaker
Digital Chat Station has disclosed that the iQOO Z9 is expected to feature a
high-resolution "1.5K" OLED display, validating one of his prior
hints. Additionally, he reveals that the smartphone will be equipped with the
powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Notably, the Z9 is anticipated to
boast a substantial 6,000 mAh battery, showcasing an impressive capacity,
albeit identical to the iQOO Z8x launched in the previous year.
Fascinatingly, there was previously another rumor that the Z9 would be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC. The Z9 Pro may follow that path while the Z9 will continue to use the Snapdragon; we'll have to wait and see.
