Along with the
'vanilla' 14 model, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may make its global debut at MWC in
Barcelona on February 25. The RAM/storage combinations that will be available
have now been leaked in China. Remember that these are intended for the Chinese
market, therefore only a portion of them might be offered elsewhere.
A tipster on Weibo,
China's version of Twitter/X, claims that the base model of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra
will have 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. In addition, 16GB of RAM and 512GB
of storage will be available, in addition to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
It's interesting to
note that there are rumors of a titanium special edition that will only be
available with the 16GB/1TB combination. This indicates that a titanium frame
will not be found on the "regular," non-special edition 14 Ultra.
According to reports, the titanium special edition will cost roughly CNY 500,
which is equivalent to $69 or €64 given the current exchange rates, more than
the 16GB/1TB non-titanium version.
Earlier speculations suggested that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra would feature a 6.73-inch 120 Hz QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display, be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, boast a quad rear camera setup (including a 50 MP primary camera with variable aperture, a 50 MP ultrawide lens, a 50 MP 3.2x telephoto lens, and a 50 MP 5x telephoto lens), sport a 32 MP front-facing camera, carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and house a 5,300 mAh battery with 90W wired charging support. Operating on Android 14 with HyperOS overlay is also expected.
