Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Rumored to Unleash Bigger Battery Brilliance, Surpassing Galaxy Z Flip 5

According to reports, Samsung is developing the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, its next-generation foldable phones. It is anticipated that these devices will surface around July of this year. Details concerning the next Z-series foldable phones have been slowly making their way public since November, according to rumors. The Z Flip 6 will have a bigger battery than the Galaxy Z Flip 5, according to a recent leak from GalaxyClub.

A 3,300mAh battery was included with the August 2021 release of the Galaxy Z Flip 3. Samsung upgraded the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 5's batteries to 3,700mAh. The South Korean tech titan is exploring bigger batteries for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, according to the latest rumor.

As per the information provided, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is reported to adopt a dual-battery setup, comprising a 1,097mAh-rated cell and a 2,790mAh-rated cell, totaling 3,887mAh in rated capacity. To put this in perspective, the Galaxy S24 boasts a 3,880mAh-rated battery, typically reaching 4,000mAh. Consequently, it appears that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is poised to deliver a combined battery capacity of 4,000mAh (typical value).

In addition to the battery enhancements, recent reports indicate that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will showcase expanded internal and external displays compared to its predecessor. While the exact dimensions of the internal display are yet to be disclosed, it is rumored to feature a 3.9-inch external screen, a notable upgrade from the Z Flip 5's 3.4-inch external screen and 6.7-inch foldable FHD+ AMOLED display.
