Realme 12 Pro Series Emerges as Fastest-Selling Smartphone in India's Thriving Rs 30K+ Price Segment

The Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ were introduced to the Indian market earlier this week. The first public sale of the new smartphones is scheduled to begin on February 6, 2024; however, the early access sale has already begun. The Realme 12 Pro series has already broken the fastest sales record in the region for its price range, according to the business.

Recall that shortly after the devices' launch, pre-orders for them opened up, with incentives of up to Rs 5,999. The Chinese manufacturer of smartphones acknowledged in a tweet that the most recent models were extremely well-liked and had broken sales records in India. During its early access sale period, the Realme 12 Pro series set a record for fastest sales in the Rs 30,000+ pricing range.

Regrettably, no official sales figures were disclosed on X (previously Twitter). Nonetheless, it maintains a similar momentum to the Realme 11 Pro 5G, which previously achieved a groundbreaking record for the highest initial sales in the Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 price bracket. For those unfamiliar, the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ variants feature an expansive 6.7-inch OLED display boasting FHD+ resolution, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate.

Internally, the former is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, while the latter incorporates the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Both devices are fueled by a substantial 5,000mAh battery, supporting rapid 67W fast charging. These models also come pre-installed with the Android 14 OS, featuring the Realme UI 5.0 custom skin right out of the box.
