This morning, Motorola
revealed the Power edition of the Moto G24, which is just the Moto G24 with a larger
battery, quicker charging, and a higher-resolution selfie camera. The Moto G24
was first released last week. While the Moto G24 Power has a 16MP selfie camera and a 6,000 mAh
cell with 30W charging capabilities, the Motorola Moto G24 has an 8MP front
camera and a 5,000 mAh battery.
The remaining
specifications are consistent between both models, ensuring that the Motorola
Moto G24 Power maintains the Helio G85 SoC, a 6.56-inch 90Hz HD+ LCD, and a
dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro lens.
Out of the box, the
Motorola Moto G24 Power operates on Android 14, and Motorola has committed to
providing one major OS upgrade along with three years of security updates.
Other noteworthy features of the Moto G24 Power include a side-mounted
fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C connectivity, stereo
speakers, and support for Dolby Atmos.
The Moto G24 Power
showcases a water-resistant design and includes a specialized microSD card slot
for expanding storage capacity up to 1TB. Additionally, it comes bundled with a
33W power adapter, despite supporting 30W charging.
The Motorola Moto G24 Power will retail for INR8,999 ($110/€100) and INR9,999 ($120/€110), respectively, and come in two memory configurations: 4GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. It will also be available in Glacier Blue and Ink Blue hues. Starting on February 7, it will be available for purchase in India via Flipkart, the official Motorola website, and several prestigious retail locations.
