It appears that Samsung has added a hidden crash detection capability to the Galaxy S24 Ultra and Z Fold5, which could be released through a software update shortly. The system code for the "Car Crash Detect Wakeup" sensor was found by developer Mishaal Rahman hidden inside the MoccaMobile hidden system app in OneUI 6.1.

Rahman explains that this functionality is dependent on a composite sensor that integrates information from various physical sensors, such as the accelerometer and gyroscope, through the Android Sensor Hub. The implementation strategy of this feature and its inclusion in the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ models is yet to be disclosed by Samsung.
