The brand has released
its Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus for international markets. These phones are not yet
released in the home town. The brand has announced the launch date of these
phones in China before its worldwide announcement. Local customers of the business
don't have to wait any longer.
In China, the Realme
12 Pro series is expected to launch in February. The debut date, which we
believe will be announced in the coming days, has not yet been revealed by the
brand. The Realme 12 Pro series comprises two smartphones, specifically the
Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus. The latter stands out as the sole device
in its category to provide a flagship-level primary camera alongside a
periscope telephoto camera.
Both phones feature a
6.7-inch curved OLED display with a centered punch-hole design. This 10-bit
panel boasts a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a 120Hz refresh rate, a
240Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and an impressive peak
brightness level of 950 nits.
Under the hood, the
Realme 12 Pro is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, while the
Realme 12 Pro Plus runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip. Both devices
come pre-loaded with Realme UI 5.0 software, based on Android 14.
Turning to the camera
configurations, the Realme 12 Pro features a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor, a
32MP Sony IMX709 sensor with a 2x telephoto lens, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a
16MP selfie camera. On the other hand, the Realme 12 Pro Plus boasts a 50MP
Sony IMX890 main sensor, a 64MP OmniVision OV64B 3x periscope telephoto
shooter, an 8MP ultrawide snapper, and a 32MP front-facing camera.
The pair includes an in-screen fingerprint sensor in addition to two stereo speakers. Not to mention, they support 67W wired charging and run on a 5,000mAh battery.
