Samsung Galaxy M15 5G and Galaxy F15 5G Receive BIS Certification

Recently the Galaxy A series of Samsung has been updated by the addition of the A15 5G and A25 5G smartphones. Now the M and F series are going to get the update. The two new upcoming smartphones spotted in India’s BIS certification database include M15 and F15 5G. SM-M156B and SM-E156B model numbers are used for the BIS certification of the Galaxy M15 5G and F15 5G smartphones, respectively.

Although the official names are not disclosed in the listing, a reasonable assumption can be made by referencing previous models. The M14 and F14 utilized model numbers SM-M146B and SM-E146B, and following this pattern, it is likely that the M15 and F15 carry model numbers SM-M156B and SM-E156B, respectively.

Further details are anticipated to emerge soon, as these phones have yet to receive certification elsewhere. However, speculations suggest that the M15 might feature a substantial 6000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.

There are also indications that the M15 and F15 could be slightly modified versions of the recently launched A15 5G. To gain insights into potential features, one can examine the A15's specifications. The phone introduces a novel design element known as the "key island," featuring a raised area for the power and volume buttons. Additionally, it boasts a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits of peak brightness.

A MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage powers the smartphone. Samsung promises five years of security updates and four generations of Android upgrades. The headset runs on OneUI 6, which is based on Android 14. The phone is equipped with three cameras on its back: a 2MP macro, a 5MP ultrawide, and a 50MP main.  A 13MP camera for video calls and selfies is located on the front.
