Samsung Galaxy S24 Shatters Pre-order Records in Korea

It is being reported that the Samsung Galaxy S24 preorders break all the records in South Korea. Just after starting the preorders, the device reached 1.2 million preorders which is more than the 1.09 million Galaxy S23 lineup for the same period.

According to ETNews, the business is on pace to sell 36 million units of the new flagships, setting a new record since the record 30 million units shipped of the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ pair, which were released five years ago.

Both online and in physical locations, Samsung is witnessing a rise in demand in its gadgets. People are swarming to touch and view the phones to experience the new AI features. It was formally confirmed by one carrier that more than 60% of pre-orders are for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

While enthusiasm for the upcoming Galaxy S24 smartphones remains robust, it falls behind the Galaxy Note 10 pre-orders, which surpassed 1.3 million in August 2019. A Samsung representative acknowledged the achievement, noting that specific pre-order figures will be disclosed upon the market launch on January 30.
