The upcoming flagship smartphones from Vivo, namely the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro, are scheduled for launch and will be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 processor, which is MediaTek's latest and most advanced smartphone chip.

The displays of the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are noteworthy features of these smartphones. Both models feature expansive 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED displays with a resolution of 2880 x 1260 pixels and a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. These screens provide impressive visuals, boasting a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits for a captivating and immersive viewing experience. This makes them well-suited for activities such as multimedia consumption and gaming. Additionally, the phones come equipped with built-in fingerprint readers and 32MP front-facing cameras, cleverly integrated into a punch-hole cutout design.

The collaborative effort between Vivo and ZEISS is evident in the 1-inch camera sensor of the Vivo X100 Pro. Both phones showcase T* lens coating and ZEISS tuning, effectively minimizing flare and ghosting in low-light conditions, even in the presence of bright lights. The T* lens coating asserts a 50% reduction in reflectivity compared to the previous vivo X90 series. The smartphone boasts an impressive camera setup, featuring a 50MP 1-inch IMX989 VCS bionic main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide unit, and a 50MP periscope telephoto unit. The periscope telephoto camera unit offers 4.3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. As reported by Financial Express, ZEISS APO has certified all three sensors for delivering high-quality images and videos.

Both smartphones boast IP68 water and dust resistance, along with features such as IR blasters, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. The two versions of the vivo X100 phones can be customized with a maximum of 16GB LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. They run on the latest OriginOS 4, based on Android 14. One notable distinction between the two variants lies in their battery specifications and charging features. The Vivo X100 is equipped with dual batteries, totaling 5,000 mAh, and is compatible with 120W fast charging. In contrast, the X100 Pro boasts a larger 5,400 mAh battery capacity and supports 100W wired charging along with 50W wireless charging.

Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro are available in orange, blue, white, and black colors. The price of the X100 ranges from CNY 3,999 ($548) for the 12/256GB version to CNY 5,099 ($700) for the edition with 1TB of storage and 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM. Regarding the X100 Pro, the lowest configuration costs CNY 4,999 ($685) for 12/256GB, while the most expensive version costs CNY 5,999 ($823) for 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Open sales for China will begin on November 21. Information regarding worldwide pricing and availability will be disclosed later.
