Infinix Smart 8 officially launched in Nigeria

Infinix has officially launched the successor to Smart 7 which was introduced earlier this year. The company’s latest budget smartphone in the Smart series, Smart 8 is nearly identical to the Tecno Pop 8.
Infinix
opted for the Unisoc T606 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of
expandable storage through the microSD card slot. The rear of the device
accommodates a 13MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, complemented by a
VGA depth sensor and LED flash. Running on Android 13 with the Infinix XOS 13 overlay,
the Smart 8 is equipped with a substantial 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10W
charging.
The display
of the Smart 8 boasts an IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Featuring a punch-hole cutout, the panel incorporates a Dynamic Island-like
overlay, providing real-time status updates and charging information.
Available in Timber Black, Galaxy White, Crystal Green, and Shiny Gold color variants, the Infinix Smart 8 has already been released in Nigeria with a price tag of NGN 82,000 (approximately USD 102 or Rs. 8,485).
