K40S Overview:
Redmi K40S was launched on March 17, 2022. The K40
was a popular device, and its immense popularity must have given rise to the
need for Redmi to launch the K40S smartphone. It is available in
four storage variants and four color options Green, Blue, Gray, and Black.
Redmi K40S has 3G, 4G, and 5G SA/NSA bands for its
connectivity. The device supports GSM / CDMA / HSPA / CDMA2000 / LTE / 5G networks,
with HSPA 42.2 Mbps for download and 5.76 Mbps for upload. It has Hotspot,
Wi-Fi Direct, Dual-Band, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, and a dual nano SIM slot.
It has no FM radio. USB Type-C 2.0 is also available in this smartphone. The
dimension of this device has 163.2 x 76.2x 7.7 mm and is 195 grams in weight.
The Redmi K40S sports an uncomplicated look with a
plastic back, glass front, flat screen, and punch-hole camera. For protection,
the front has Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and the body is splash-resistant. So
the build quality and design is class worthy. However, the handset is a bit
heavy. Redmi K40S has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate
support. Moreover, it offers HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 1300 nits.

Redmi K40S is powered by a balanced 7nm Qualcomm SM8250 AC
Snapdragon 870 5G chipset. The chipset lets you enjoy a fast and smooth

Adreno 650 GPU and Octa Core 1x3.2 GHz Kryo 585 & 3x2.42 GHz Kryo 585 &

13 user interface.

The Redmi K40S
is equipped with a 48 MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro
lens to form a triple rear camera setup. Image quality from the primary lens is
decent and comes with Optical Image Stabilization which brings stability during
on-the-go photo and video recording. On the other hand, the image processing
unit also provides high quality. Redmi K40S has a 20MP front camera. Selfie
results are average, with good exposure but sketchy details. For video
recording, the K40S allows you to record 4K videos at 30fps with the primary
camera, while from the front lens, you can only record 1080p videos at 120fps.
Also, you get gyro-EIS support on the primary camera for stabilization.
The Redmi k40S smartphone packs a Li-Po 4500 mAh
battery with 67W fast charging support, which can fuel the device 100 percent
in just 38 minutes. Hence, the combination of battery and charging will never
