Nothing Phone 1 Overview

Much awaited Nothing Phone 1 has been released on 16 July 2022 by Nothing Phone, from the last few months too much teasers and trailers has posted for Nothing Phone One that’s why, the device created much hype and now it is as the company’s first hyped tech product official.  The design of this smartphone is really unique by its attractive structure. It has flashing LEDs lights on the back which always on during using the handset. With its striking design and good performance it is good option if you want to get it.

It supports GSM / HSPA / LTE / 5G networks with the speed of HSPA 42.2 Mbps for download and 5.76 Mbps for upload and Super fast 5G speeds are also available in handset. This device has been launched with Dual Nano SIM. The weight of the mobile is 193.5 Grams and the dimension of the device is 159.2 x 75.8 x 8.3 mm. It is also protected with Glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), glass back (Gorilla Glass 5) and aluminum frame. This device is dust proof and IP53 water resistant. These can be resisting from penetration of powerful water jets, but not be submerged into water.

It has OLED display supporting 1Billion colors and comes with the refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen size of this smartphone is 6.55 Inches and the screen-to-body ratio is 85.8%. Its resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels and the PPI (pixels per inch) density is 402, Nothing Phone 1 comes with Qualcomm SM7325-AE Snapdragon 778G+ 5G (6nm) chipset with Octa-core processor (4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 & 1x2.5 GHz Cortex-A78 & 3x2.4 GHz Cortex-A78), That is not a flagship chipset but considering better performer especially for Gaming and using in mid to high end smart phones usually and having High performance GPU 642L that is designed to accelerate the image output in a frame buffer. It is loaded with Nothing OS based on Android 12 Operating system.

 It is also packed with 8GB/12GB External storage and 128GB/ 256GB internal Dynamic memory storage with USF 3.1. It means that all types of data are stored in the same memory (there is no separate card slot for video, ringtones and photos). The advantage of dynamic memory is that it is more flexible then partitioned memory.

Nothing Phone (1) has dual-camera setup with featuring Panorama, HDR and LED-Flash. There is a 50MP (wide) camera on the rear panel which shoots video and taking pictures on optically stabilized sensor with the aperture of f/1.9. Along with that, there is also 50MP (ultrawide) camera setup with the aperture of f/2.2. At the front, It has a 16MP wide selfie snapper inside the punch hole, you can shoot at up to 1080p videos. As you know Selfie Camera is also used for video conferencing applications.

It has stereo speakers but there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. Loudspeakers are more important from headphone jack because it used to dealing calls without hands-free or even have conference calls with others. It’s having Hotspot, Dual-band, WI-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.2, A2DP, LE, with A-GPS QZSS (1), BDS (2), GLONASS (1), GALILEO (1), NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0 connectivity options and there is no FM Radio in it.

Smartphones comes with different sensors to facilitate the user, including fingerprint (under display optical), Compass, Gyro, Accelerometer and Proximity. It has Li-Po 4500 mAh, non removable battery with 33W Fast Charger 100% in 70 min, 15W Wireless Charger, 5W Reverse Wireless Charger, Power Delivery 3.0 and Quick Charge 4.0. It is available in two popular colors White and Black. In the Benchmark Test Nothing Phone (1) got a score of 538711 points. The starting Price of Nothing Phone (1) is $325 in USD.
