Nokia launched its new budget smartphone, the G11, on March 24, 2022. It offers exactly what you need from a budget-priced phone. The Nokia G11 is consistently reliable. Easily delivering three days of battery life without an issue, it's also a tough enough phone that feels like it can take a few knocks without issue. It comes in two variants of 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. It is available in two awesome ice and Charcoal colors.
The Nokia G11 is sometimes a bit slow as octa-core 6x1.6 GHz Cortex-A55 and 2x1.6 GHz Cortex-A75 CPU, Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, and its Unisoc T606 chipset is powerful enough for web browsing and not much else, and don't count on too much storage. The current model only has 32GB, though you can add a microSD card to expand it.
Camera-wise, you get a triple-lens setup with a 13MP wide lens, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is an 8MP wide lens. All are functional, and none stand out from the ordinary. The Nokia G11 is a decent size. You would expect an average smartphone to have 164.6 x 75.9 x 8.5 mm dimensions. It weighs 189 grams, which means it is pretty heavy.
The star of the Nokia G11 show is its display. While most phones are standard items, its 6.5-inch display offers a 90Hz refresh rate. Many phones are costing more than this stick to 60Hz, so it's great to see it here. It makes browsing a faster and better experience. Well, it's business as usual elsewhere. The Nokia G11 screen looks good in good lighting, but once you take it somewhere bright, it struggles until you tweak some settings.
Apart from the screen, the other highlight of the Nokia G11 is its battery life. Nokia promises a three-day battery life, and it efficiently delivers. We're guessing it's because it's pretty slow, but it's nice to have a device that doesn't need regular recharging. The Nokia G11 has a large 5050mAh battery. When you need to recharge it, the 18W charging support comes in handy, and it only takes a few hours to charge fully. Surprisingly, there is no wireless charging support.
Nokia G11 supports GSM / HSPA /LTE networks. Which provides LTE Cat4 150/50 Mbps speeds, HSPA 42.2 Mbps for download and 5.76 Mbps for upload, and superfast 5G speeds are not available in the handset. The device is launched with a single nano SIM. This smartphone features like Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n ac, Dual Band, Bluetooth 5.2, A2DP, LE, USB Type-C 2.0, GPS with A-GPS, GALILEO, and GLONASS. It has dual stereo speakers (2 amplifiers) and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A fingerprint sensor is side-mounted; other sensors, like an accelerometer and proximity, are also available in this device.
In the Antutu benchmark test, the Nokia G11 scored 154832 points. It is a budget smartphone from Nokia and is priced very reasonably. The price of the Nokia G11 mobile phone in the USA starts from $125.
